Yield Co. mechanism is an operation structure, which enables an enterprise spinning off couple of PV power plants in operation into independent subsidiary, then sale to public investors by IPO. Taiwan PV Industry may consider adopting Yield Co. mechanism for more activated business. Taiwanese yieldcos, if any, may help in negotiating with system developers around the world in buying PV products from Taiwan and selling the system back to Yield Co. once it is well established. This not only benefits the fundraising at the system development stage but also has existing capacity be utilized. That is, a new virtuous circle.
