The estimated production value of Taiwan food industry in the second quarter of 2011 is US$4.83 billion, rising by 4.2% compared with last year, under the stimulation of frozen & chilled meats, edible fats & oils, processed meats, grain husking, flour milling, and processed vegetables. Businesses mentioned above have increased by more than 10%. However, the outputs in soft drink, wine & liquor, noodles and seasoning have declined.
