The term "home control/home automation" first appeared 20 years ago. It can be said to be the name for "smart home" in the budding stage. As more and more smart home applications are launched in the market, the definition of "smart home" becomes more established.
Traditional home automation systems rely primarily on microcontrol technology that places home appliances under centralized management and automated control. A user can use front-end equipment (e.g. home control panel, remote control, and telephone control) to issue commands, which will then be executed by the back server that remotely controls via radio and infrared waves digital home products and drive various terminals.
