In 2013, the Taiwanese food service industry reported 400.7 billion NT$ in revenue, a 1.6% increase compared to 2012. Due to increased workdays and an increased number of travelers that year, revenue of other food service industries, including group meal and airplane meal services, have increased to 17.4 billion NT$, and growth rates have increased by 2.9% in 2013.
