The scope of textile industry is quite extensive and the comprehensive textile fields can be divided into 6 categories: textile fiber industry, yarn spinning mills, weaving industry, dyeing and finishing industry, garment industry, and non-apparel textile.
Textile fibers require unique processing method according to the different types and characteristics, which relies on the textile material industries. For example, the cotton in natural fiber needs to be removed with cottonseed, cocoon needs to be selected, wool needs to be cleaned of dirt and oil, and the flax needs to be degummed, before going into the next spinning process.
