The output of the Taiwan food industry during the first quarter of 2011 is estimated at US$ 4.35 billion, increased 4.0% compared to the previous year. Sixteen sectors display positive growth, including large industries such as frozen and chilled vegetables and fruit edible fats & oils, noodles and granulated sugar.
