Reviewing Taiwan electronic components and flat panel display industry in 2019, the production value was NT$2,024.6 billion, where the growth rate declined by 5.0% when compared with that in 2018. The production value of LED component industry in 2019 declined by 11.3%, compared with that in 2018, owing to the economic distress, the sluggish end demand, the asymmetric competition from China and the difficult entrance in the hi-end market. Owing to the PCB industry beneficial from the growth of FPC antenna, hi-end substrate and substrate-like PCB related to 5G from the leading companies as well as the shipment growth of rigid-flex board of wireless headphones and camera lens, multilayer board of servers and IC test board for intermediate/small manufacturers, the production value of Taiwan PCB in 2019 grew by 1.6% when compared to that in 2018.
